2 A.M., red light bleed through the rain

Heartbeat dragging like a rusted chain

Shadow in the alley got my walk, my pace

Every time I turn around—I see my face

Same dead road with a different end

Boots hit gravel, my thoughts hit brakes

Knee-deep drowning in familiar mistakes

Face in the glass with a wolf-like grin

Heart full static, chest full rust

Hands still twitch from the weight I drag
