Walking through the neighborhood what did I see

A man in a sweater grinning at me

Thought I'd crack a joke thought I'd be cool

Turned out real quick I'm the neighborhood fool

Mr. Rogers he stepped up real smooth

Said hello there neighbor I got news

Now my face got the memo just like new shoes

Mr. Rogers laid me out flat

He got me good now I'm on the mat

Wonder if he'll let me borrow his hat

I thought it was sweet talk but man was I wrong

Who's the happy guy with the power so strong

Well now I know where I don't belong

He gave me a wink then a pat on the head

Said don't worry friend you'll be just fine instead
