Life goes up and life goes down.

Of course I'll always be around.

Life gets hard and you need a hand

Baby girl I'll be there to help you stand,

It could be you and me with the test of time.

But pay attention to the flow of this rhyme.

-what did I do to earn heartache and pain you have put me through. I bend over backwards and do my best for you. Many nights my tears have been falling like the rain. With nothing but sorrow to gain. My heart beats for one girl and only one name. But you seem to only want to play these heartbreaking games.

It's you, your smile, the happiness I see in your face.

But you act like I'm some sort of disgrace.

But me without you seems so outta place.

Trying to keep up with you but you're in a different race.

So I'm slipping and falling back from this place.

But I won't fall down, won't give up until I see that light on your face.

I said in my last rhyme that I've been cast out and been pushed out and I've been stuck in the rain.

But it is my own tears that are causing this pain.

Without you in my world is driving me insane.

But I can't keep playing your games.

Been there for you when your world was crashing down.

I was there for you when no one else was around.

When the world hit you outta nowhere and put you in hell.

I threw myself in there with you so you wouldn't fail.

Holding you while you cried so you wouldn't be alone.

But what I see now is you haven't grown

I've had to sit back and watch as you're constantly getting hurt.

Wishing to give you the strength or a hand to pull you up from the dirt.

No matter how I try, I can't keep living this lie.

Too many times I've wanted to just die.

All I've ever done was love you with a heart so pure.

A love that could last and a love that could endure.

To be the man for you and your son.

Could've come together and been happy as one.

But I guess I'm not your type, not good enough for you.

I've tried my best but my heart is black and blue.

I can't sit back and watch you destroy you.

So I gotta go, with what little sanity I got left.
