New Dawn, New Fight

Silent room, heavy thoughts, a silent prayer or two

Waiting for the dawn, to find a way to start anew

Phone call echoes in my mind, a message I can't deny

Doctor's words, heavy load, falling from the sky

MRI’s reveal, a truth so stark, roots compressed and tight

Path ahead, uncertain, haunted by the night

Dreams of the past, welding sparks that once burned bright

Now shadows cast, on a future dimmed by this plight

Choices I face, fear and hope collide in my mind

Still I stand, and ask myself, what can I still find?

Hold on, through the storm, I’ve got to believe

Every step, every scar, a mark I leave

Facing the fear of the change, I have to be strong

New roads, new days, where I belong

Maybe this is not the end, but a new beginning

Lessons learned, strength earned, and a fight worth winning

The pain reminds me that I’m still alive and true

With every challenge, I find a way to break through

So here I sit, with hope in my heart, eyes on the horizon

One step at a time, no more just surviving, I am rising
