Buddy (low, taunting):
So the mighty trio finally appear,
Oscar, Vinny, Guiness—tails stiff with fear.
You bark of your honor, your noble crusade,
But one by one, you’ll whimper and fade.
[He stalks closer, snapping his jaws.]
I’ll break your bond, I’ll tear it apart,
Shatter your courage, devour your heart.
When dawn finally rises, only I will remain,
The streets will remember Buddy’s name!
[Oscar steps forward, bold and noble, his voice firm.]
Oscar:
Buddy, your shadow has darkened the land,
But justice will rise when together we stand.
Your rage is a tempest, your fury a flame,
But we fight with honor, not hunger for fame.
[Vinny jumps in with a playful, defiant swagger.]
Vinny:
We’ve run through the storms, we’ve howled through the night,
We’ve stumbled, we’ve scarred, but we still choose the fight.
You’ll find that your darkness can’t cover the sun—
Three tails united are stronger than one!
[Guiness steps forward last, sharp and witty, his tone cutting like a blade.]
Guiness:
Buddy, your teeth are a rattling show,
A hollow old bark with no wisdom to grow.
You snarl and you threaten, but deep down you know,
When courage is tested, it’s you who will go.
Brains, heart, and spirit—we fight as we must,
Together we triumph, together we trust.
No shadows, no snarls, no villainous scheme,
Can break the resolve of a three-dog team!
[Buddy snarls, snapping back in fury. Music grows tense, faster.]
Buddy (furious):
I’ll crush your alliance, I’ll scatter your pack!
One blow of my fury and none will come back!
Your courage will crumble, your loyalty fall,
And Buddy the Fearsome will conquer you all!
[The heroes close ranks, tails high. Music swells.]
Oscar (noble):
We’ll fight through the darkness, we’ll fight till it’s done!
Vinny (playful, fierce):
Three voices together will drown out your one!
Guiness (witty, sharp):
Your reign is a story already undone—
[All three in harmony, drowning Buddy’s last snarl:]
Three tails together are stronger than one!
[The music softens. Buddy slumps to the ground, his voice trembling. A minor key underscoring plays.]
Buddy (broken, bitter):
No… this can’t be… three tails against mine…
I swore I’d be victor, I swore I would shine.
But strength without wisdom, and fury alone,
Leaves nothing but shadows… and I’m on my own.
[He looks at the trio, eyes dimming with reluctant respect.]
Your courage outmatched me, your bond held so true…
Three hearts together were stronger than two.
[He lowers his head in defeat, backing into the shadows.]
I’ll lick at my wounds… but don’t think I am gone,
The tale of old Buddy… is never quite done.
