Where you felt lonely lost and confused

Carrying the tainted stains and pains of all your wrongs

Looking ahead at tomorrow with no expectations against yesterday's mess

Where I failed every single one of my tests now I'm deeper in debt

Bonded to regret of the things I can't forget

Punishment of reliving it wishing it'd relent

And let me in a truck that's moving and not stuck

Spinning it's wheels digging deeper like overweight in high heels

Pulling me back into the same thrills addictions I've been battling for years

I need a new life a stable home with a wife unafraid to pray when things ain't right

I'm tired of walking stuck in the memories of karma bad luck and wrongful fights

So this Jesus that they keep talking about wonder if He'd hear me if I cried out tonight

Jesus come in my heart and change my life

I NEED IT

Take all this darkness and exchange it with Your light

I NEED IT

Can You please turn my wrongs into lessons to make me right

I NEED IT

Will You Heal me with Your redeeming blood

I NEED IT

And let change come rushing in like a flood

I NEED IT

Oh Jesus will You please hear my cry

If You fix this I'll serve You till I die

Had to learn this

When God wants to make you a powerful man

He will not give you your crown at first

To break you He has to strip away

All those things you chose making you live that way

Took away my comfort in EVERYTHING

My pride My plans My desires My hidden sin

But After He broke me all the way down down down

I saw what really was real cause no one was around

Everyone that I chose to be in my life had a purpose

To become the man He already knew was inside

I see now it was not my punishment cause You had me in training

And all those pains were not to DESTROY ME

oh ohoooo

But You stretching out what was weak till it broke

Those broken areas have become my strength

For the purpose and destiny You set befor me

I'M LISTENING LORD AND I HEAR YOU LOUD AND CLEAR

You stripped all that dead weight up off of meeee

Letting me carry Your glory till Your face I see

No one can do what You have done foe meeeee

You Held onto me until Your path was seen

While in my wrongs

Cause I almost ended my life with You

Heartbreak betrayal mental and physical abuse

I went through it all now it's there for You to use

Thoughts that I fought through trying to find my peace of mind

Lord You've always shown up right on time

Heard the tales of Your love from so many of lives

I will trust You believing in Your Mercy and Your Grace

And let You take me ahead for once in this race

Jesus came in my heart and changed my life

YES HE DID IT
