Hurricane in My Mind

Living in the storm, trapped in a hurricane’s eye

Every day’s a battle, a silent cry

Shadows of the past, they won’t let go

In the whirlwind’s hold, I fight to show

They say time heals, but they don’t see the scars

Invisible wounds, hidden behind these bars

A survivor’s journey, a constant fight

Endless nights, battling fright

Crowds feel like lightning, loud noises explode

Panic rising, carrying a heavy load

Flight or fight, I don’t choose, I just react

Trying to find my way back

It’s a hurricane in my mind, spinning wild and free

A storm I can't escape, no matter what I believe

Ripping at my soul, tearing me apart

Living with a hurricane in my heart

They tore my face, stripped my name

Made me feel worthless, ignited the pain

But I stand, I breathe, I rise above

In the eye of the storm, I find my love

Triggered by noise, pushed too far

Darkness descends like a falling star

Trying to scream, trying to break free

Hurricane inside of me
