Fragility

We drive fast and work hard: push ourselves to the limit. 
Perhaps eat that fast food, never knowing what's in it. 
We all take our chances and make poor decisions, 
Thinking God's got our back and he'll make provisions. 
I've gotten this far never realizing how fragile 
Our lives truly can be – but I feel so agile! 
Strong is my faith – I stand on solid ground
 I have little concern of what dangers abound.
Yes, tragedy can happen – but to others we think -
Grief can destroy our whole world in a blink!
All we hope to do, whether family or friend 
Is Pray God’s strength lives within you, to help you defend.
Heartache and pain are stories no one can write
Unless they’ve witnessed - and lived through - that same awful fight.
Most of us will not know the heartache you’re feeling...
We hold your heart closely; and pray for some healing
Wishing we could have helped you more in some way
