You told me I would grow be nothing, why you surprised?

I overcame the challenges, turned the truth into lies,

Reflected your projections, avoided your enterprises,

Based upon the hate and the envy seen through your eyes,

Riding through the storms, convinced that I’m meant for more,

Through the hurricanes, tsunamis, eclipses I can’t ignore,

I weathered all the curses, how many blessings in store?

Ring me up,

Let me see every value in me,

Lift me up,

Sometimes you gotta climb to be free,

Started from the bottom or did you drown in the deep?

In the silver, glow, I learned to fly…….

I regained my confidence, and now you think I’m cocky,

Self belief is such a drug, if I overdose,

I know that will only make you feel like we were never close,

But maybe that’s the truth that I’m avoiding these days,

Writing music tryna lift my spirits these days,

It’s seems like it has worked cuz now I’m happy (these days!)

Others see the beauty in the sun,

I’m the one that feels the same when I look at the moon,

I’m contemplating light and dark, the balance yin and yang,

Some people love to stand in front the sun, but I love standing-
