Rise Above the Shadow

Soft violin whispers, unity in the silence

Echoes of the past, now dismissed in defiance

Saw the devil cross my path, he was standing here today

With shadows in his eyes, but I knew he'd fade away

Stood my ground with Jesus in my heart, I couldn't be swayed

His voice tried to echo loud, but I knew what I obeyed

From Your garden, You gave me seeds of love and grace

As I grew, I blossomed, in Your mercy I embrace

Petals fall, but I stand tall, in Your truth I find my place

Devil's thunder crashes, but Your peace I chase

Nothing can make me go with you, 'cause Jesus lives in me

He’s my shield, my victory, my eternal victory

You tried to break my spirit, but I forgive, I set it free

Time to move on, hide away, devil, you can't stay with me

Flowers shed, yet I forgive, the storm has passed by

Broken petals, falling down, but I still stand high

Devil, it's time to go and hide, no more tears, no more cry

Victory's in my soul, with Jesus by my side

Violin fades into the night, a peaceful, conquering sound

Grace has won the fight, in Your love, I am bound
