Took the fences, took the land

Carried dreams and years of labor

Like dust slipped through Your hand

But even when the sky turned black

And thunder shook our prayers

You were standing in the silence

Proving You were always there

Even when the flood came down

Even when the earth gave way

You were still the Rock beneath

You were still the light that stayed

Waters rise, but You remain

Faithful through it all

You’re the God of every mountain

Still the God when rivers fall

The trees bent low like they were weeping

The roads were gone, the fields undone

But You wrote hope into the ruins

With mercy in the morning sun

We lost what we had trusted

But never lost Your name

You rebuild what storms have broken

With beauty born from pain

You’re not shaken by the chaos

Not surprised by what we face

You were walking through the valley

Long before the flood took place

You’re the calm in every current

The anchor in the deep

You are good in devastation

You are strong when we are weak
