There’s a problem I’ve been having

For many many years

It started with a tingle

but now it’s driving me to tears!

It hurts when I’m a walking

And even when I sleep

I’m tossing and a turning

and nothing’s helping me!

Bunions, I got bunions!

those pesky twisted bones down in my toes

Bunions, those gosh darn bunions

And how I ever got them, no one knows!

My shoes they do not fit well

the pressure is so great.

those bones they are a poking me

the pain does not abate

I walk like grandma moses

across the rocky ground

and when i cry in torment

I sure make quite a sound!

I went on to the doctor

He cut into my bones

i’m laying here in torture

trapped inside my home

I can’t put any pressure

for six more dreadful weeks

I hope whe all the bones heel

I’ll get those dancing feet!
