Sonya’s Smile [HOOK 1: THE CALL FOR HELP] "She called for a prowler, but the danger arrived in a uniform. Sonya Massey didn't just lose her life; she lost the one thing we’re told to trust. If calling for help is a death sentence, what does 'protection' even mean in America?" [THE HEART: YOUR ORIGINAL WORDS] "Why does he get to live when he took her life? Yeah, I’m sure he's probably somebody's brother, son, friend, or dad. I’m sure he is important to somebody. But did he think she was? And if it wasn't for the camera, he would have never been caught. So what was the lesson America was taught? Sonya Massey was somebody's friend, somebody's sister, somebody's daughter. I’m sure she had cousins who could remember growing up in the age where we used to play dozens. Wait, she was really young—36 means she was born way after. SIKE... you can tell she knew that man was gonna try to take her life. If you watch the video, you can see it in her eyes. I could hear the fear in her voice. It's not like he didn't mean to do it. He hit her in her sight. That's got to be the first degree. They need to take him back to court and give him what he gave her. They tried him for second degree, so it ain't like they trying him twice. See the moral of America on trial now. Every person, think about your life. Would you want that done to you? They're supposed to be the arm of the law. Is it right they get to treat us like we are expendable, disposable amounts of nothing? At the same time, people, we have to start living like we have value. And you can see Ms. Massey valued herself—SHE CALLED THEM BECAUSE SHE NEEDED SOME HELP. Do you think she would have called them there? Do you think she would call her own demise? Is this the picture of America? What does America say? And I dont want them to take his life. And people, don't you riot. People, DO NOT RIOT OR MARCH. Just every person in America: This cannot be the America that we are. There's got to be a way that we can find peace. Every person is somebody. Every person should be treated with Respect. And police you should know deep down inside your job is to protect all people. Look at the picture. See her smile. This is just my opinion on first seeing the picture. I just think the law is not fair sometimes, especially when it comes to people of color. Why we got to be the ones living afraid 2 live? Look at her smile." [THE CLOSING HOOK] "America is on trial, but the evidence is in the law books now. The Sonya Massey Act means that from this day forward, your past follows you. A badge is a privilege, not a shield for misconduct. We’re not just asking for respect anymore—we’re legislating it." Tilla Sonrise peace Spread Love Around the World
