Good times, bad times, lost in the maze

Money was tight, but hope was alive

Never gave up, kept the faith, survived

Blessed with family and friends by my side

Through the dark days, sleepless nights, I ride

God, tell me when will this end?

Holding tears, no fears, I transcend

One day it will change, I know in my heart

From hired to fired, I played my part
