Here’s a little story ’bout me,

The Original Oilfield BadAss and his family tree.

I spent my life chasing iron, fire, and money,

But the best damn thing I ever built…

Calls me Paw Paw.

And don’t get it twisted—

Granny’s pretty BadAss too.

We had two grown kids, Morgan and Devin,

Blessed by God, sent straight down from Heaven.

I worked long hitches with these boots in the mud,

Raised ’em the best I could with oilfield blood.

Morgan got pregnant at a really young age,

And the guy she was with? I wanted locked in a cage.

His name was Drake, and I watched him real close,

Like any hard-headed daddy protecting what he loves most.

But time tells the truth about the heart of a man,

And Drake stepped up, put a ring on her hand.

They finally got married, and I’ll give him his due—

Turns out he’s a good one, strong and true.

Then somebody handed me that first little baby,

And this old roughneck’s whole damn world went crazy…

I’ve been called a roughneck, a hard-ass, a hand,

Worked offshore iron where few understand.

But the toughest damn title I ever saw…

PAW PAW!

First came Baylee Grace, changed my life forever,

Quick with a joke and damn sure clever.

She brought out a side of me nobody knew,

Made this hard old BadAss turn soft out the blue.

She can make me laugh when the whole world’s wrong,

Turn a bad damn day into my favorite song.

First little grandbaby, first link in the chain,

Put sunshine in an old roughneck’s rain.

She taught me something no oilfield could—

Life ain’t only about working hard and

I love that little girl when she says,

“Paw Paw, I love you.”

Smart ain’t the word—she’s smarter than smart,

Got a sharp little mind and a hell of a heart.

Blunt like her Mama, blunt like her Granny,

If you ask what she thinks, better brace yourself, Danny.

She’ll tell you the truth, won’t sugarcoat shit,

And once that girl decides—she ain’t changing it.

Bright damn future, I can already see,

She’ll make her own road, wild and free.
