**Why So Harsh?**
Hey, have you felt the weight we carry,
On this beautiful planet, so bright, yet so weary?
With the sun shining down and the stars up above,
Why do we find it so hard to share a little love?
Look around, it’s a canvas, painted with grace,
Mountains and oceans, life’s vibrant embrace.
Yet in the shadows, there’s tension and strife,
Why are we harsh when we’re all trying to live life?
Is it fear that divides us, a wall built so high,
A fear of connection, that makes us deny?
We’re all searching for meaning, for joy, and for peace,
But in the noise of the world, those feelings decrease.
What happened to laughter, to kindness, to play?
Why does it feel like we’ve lost our way?
In the race for approval, for things we can own,
We forget the importance of being alone.
Happiness seems fleeting, like a whisper in the wind,
Caught up in the chaos, we forget where we’ve been.
It means we’re all human, imperfect, and real,
Navigating this journey, trying to heal.
So let’s take a moment, to look in each other’s eyes,
To see beyond anger, to the truth that lies.
In this beautiful world, let’s choose to be kind,
For together we flourish, leaving harshness behind.
Let’s embrace our connections, let compassion ignite,
In the warmth of our hearts, we can find the light.
For life’s too short to hold onto the pain,
Let’s nurture each other, let love be our gain.
