Chasin' Tomorrow

Woke up this morning with the sunrise glow,

The rooster crowed, and it’s time to go.

Got dreams to chase down an old dirt road,

With every step, watch those futures unfold.

Grandpa’s wisdom in my back pocket,

A silver dollar locket on a chain from momma’s locket.

In this small town, we make our own luck,

With a heart so full, I’m ready to truck.

We’re chasin’ tomorrow with all we got,

From cornfields and meadows to the old town lot.

Down every highway, in every neighbor’s smile,

The barn's been painted, the crops are in line,
