Still I Follow

I walked the halls where echoes stayed,

Prayers rising high at break of day.

Candles burned with steady light,

A call so deep, a love so bright.

But now I stand beyond those doors,

No longer where I was before.

Yet in my soul, I hear Him say,

“My child, I’m with you all the way.”

Still, I follow where You lead,

Through the silence, through the need.

Though the road has changed its way,

Your love remains, I will obey.

The cassock’s gone, the books are closed,

Yet still, my heart is Yours to hold.

Not in walls but in the world,

Your voice in whispers still is heard.

No matter where this journey bends,

No matter how the season ends,

Your call is written in my name,

And I will serve You just the same.

Still, I follow where You lead,

Through the silence, through the need.

Though the road has changed its way,

Your love remains, I will obey.

For it's not the place, it’s not the robe,

It’s in the love my heart has known.

To be Your hands, to be Your feet,

To share Your light in all I meet.

So here I stand, not lost but found,

With purpose strong, on sacred ground.

Lord, my life, my heart, my all,

Still, I follow, hear Your call.
