Forever Missing My Dad

Tears fall like rain, can't hold back the pain

Sitting here alone, calling out his name again

Hope fades, as I kneel by the sacred grounds

Heart shattered, lost in a world of doubts and doubts

Never thought I'd have to say goodbye, watch tears fall from my eyes

This ache in my chest, a silent scream, a question in disguise

He took his last breath, left me hanging in despair

Inhaling memories of him, exhaling a prayer

Doors closed behind, yet he opened his heart to the sky

Now I'm locked out in the cold, wondering why

A tortured soul, battling with faith's shattered face

Longing for one more moment, just to see his face

God, ease this pain, hear my desperate cry

I hear his voice in my head, can't believe he's gone

All I want is my dad, just one more day to say goodbye

Reflections show his face, but the soul's withdrawn

Contemplating my own death, dreaming of reunion

But I can't be selfish, my kids are my haven

Though my heart is broken, I carry his love inside

Miss my dad more than words, in my tears I hide

Living in hell, but I hold on to his memory tight

Waiting for the day, when we reunite in the light

Until then, I keep his spirit alive, amid my strife
