Jesus Is My Propitiation
I stood beneath the weight of all my shame,
Calling out, but no one knew my name.
Then mercy found me where I chose to hide,
And love was waiting with His arms spread wide.
Jesus is my propitiation,
He took my judgment, gave me salvation.
Justice satisfied by mercy's hand,
Now forever in His grace I stand.
Every scar and every broken chain,
Every tear and every ounce of pain,
Was carried to the cross on Calvary's hill,
Where perfect love fulfilled the Father's will.
The debt is gone, the price is paid,
The darkest night has turned to day.
No condemnation, no fear remains,
I'm washed forever in His holy name.
Jesus is my propitiation,
He took my judgment, gave me salvation.
The wrath I earned He bore alone,
Now by His grace I'm welcomed home.
When this life has reached its final breath,
I will not fear the shadowed step of death.
The Lamb who died now reigns eternally,
And His redeeming love has rescued me.
Jesus is my propitiation,
My living hope through every generation.
Forever I'll lift my voice and sing,
To Christ alone, my Savior and my King.
