I carve time from the grind—framing moments, perfect captions,

Pops said conquer your fears—stay open, never passive.

It’s something I ain’t seen, but I’m telling myself,

With cold shoulders—I’m older now, still checking myself,

I hope my daughter knows her daddy had to overcome,

A world full of tragedies, where loyalty rarely comes.

Your mother stayed mad at me, I was chasing peace,

You could swear I overdosed—trying to find release,

So I’m praying we do better, and move through storms together.

It’s cool to live your life, but it’s better going to heaven,

I was born to be a reverend, felt that since age of seven,
