Noise in my mind, chaos in my soul

Trying to find peace, but it's out of control

Sitting here drowning in the deafening roar

Death metal's screaming, but I want nothing more

Than to shut down, turn off, disappear

Lost in the noise, fighting back tears

Now I see the truth, I don't know you

Waiting here, feeling betrayed

My heart under siege, so frayed

This noise is killing me, tearing me apart

Or is it just the silence within my heart?

Wish I could tear these ears away

Mute the chaos, find my own way

Made my love a toy, then left me behind

Planning to care, but you chose another path
