Fighting the Shadows, Walking with God

Darkness deep, it's calling out my name

Echoes of the past, still haunting my dayFrame

But I stand tall, won't surrender to the pain

Clinging to hope, fighting through the shame

Been to hell twice, walked through the flames

Taught myself to breathe when nothing remains

Pain's a shadow, trying to block the light

But I see the dawn, I’m ready to fight

Devil’s laughter, demons in the night

Try to break me, but I hold on tight

Clear my mind of the torment and the strife

Seeking the truth, fighting for life

I won’t accept the fate you try to design

God’s love is my armor, my hope divine

Long road ahead, but I will survive

In His grace, I’ll see the sunrise

Pain was a teacher, a shadow I knew

But I found my strength, and I broke through

The torture tried to drown my soul

But love and faith made me whole

Satan's whispers, tempting and cruel

But I refuse to be their fool

Preordained darkness I will defy

With God’s power, I’ll soar high

I won’t accept the fate you try to design
