Through the darkness

Shadows scream in vain.

As they Devour my name

Through the ashes of my demise

Rose a flame

Screaming no peace

No shame

Clenched fists

My heart untamed

I see through the darkness

I Feel the fight!

No more running from

The wrongs I made right

Broken pieces of a reflection

Falling apart yet seeing no reaction.

These are just broken dreams

To an already broken heart

Chains shatter on there distant walk

Thunder cracks upon distant rocks

Echoing screams pierce the ears of the broken and lost

My veins ignite

Standing tall in death’s dim light

Steadfast and ready to fight

Adrenaline pumping through my veins

Giving me life.

Never thought the pain would be real

But now I stand corrected

For what I'm feeling

In this moment.

And moments last forever.
