He sat right there beside Him, broke the

bread and drank the wine

Laughed along with all the others, never gave

a single sign

No halo outta place, no shadow in the room

But the Savior knew the silence that was

coming all too soon

He washed his feet like all the rest, looked

him in the eye

Knowing that the kiss he’d give would be the

reason He would die

Still, He never flinched or faltered, never

raised a hand or voice

it’s made its holy choice
