Cycle of Shadows

In the shadows, I dwell alone

Haunted by a thirst unknown

Echoes of lost lives in my bones

Caught in a cycle I can't disown

Night falls heavy, on this lonely fight

Collecting fragments in the dying light

Souls I've taken, slipping out of sight

A demon’s debt weighing me down tonight

Filling the void with what's been stolen

Empty inside, hearts broken, golden

Chasing the fragments, never wholly won

A never-ending game I've spun

Soldier of darkness, haunted and torn

Carrying burdens that leave me worn

Forever searching, forever cursed

In this cycle, I feel inert

Demon’s shadow, lurking close behind

No peace within, no peace to find

In the night, I lose my mind

Trading my soul for a fleeting kind

Filling the void with what I crave

Lost in the darkness, no way to save

The cycle spins, it’s my only home

Lost in shadows, forever alone

Soldier of darkness, haunted and torn

Carrying burdens that leave me worn

Forever searching, forever cursed

In this cycle, I feel inert

Is there salvation, a way to break free?

Or am I destined to always be?

A pawn in a demonic decree

Filling the void eternally

When death comes to claim my soul

Will it end this endless toll?

Or am I just a shadow’s goal?
