VERSE 1 — The Story He Began
He came and wrote His story,
Born and lived for glory,
Walked the earth with power in His hands.
Healing every nation,
Signs and revelation,
Proving He was more than any man.
He called the twelve beside Him,
One would soon deny Him,
Sold the Master with a traitor’s kiss.
They beat Him, crucified Him,
But death could not confine Him—
He rose in everlasting life and bliss.
---
PRE‑CHORUS — The Promise Spoken
But the greatest part is coming,
Hear the promise He is summoning:
“I will rise, but I will return.
I will rise, but I will return to take My church.”
---
CHORUS — The People He Will Gather
A church that truly knows Me,
Exalts Me and adores Me,
A people who will give Me all the glory.
My return will come surprising,
No one knows the hour rising—
Only My Father holds the final story.
---
VERSE 2 — The Warning and the Watch
So stay awake and ready,
For the moment comes so steady,
In a blink the promise will unfold.
Like lightning in the heavens,
I’ll gather all My brethren—
My chosen ones, My faithful and My own.
But who will not inherit?
The slanderers in spirit,
The envious, the liars left behind.
Those speaking in My name,
Just chasing earthly fame—
Saying “God has spoken” when I never gave the sign.
---
PRE‑CHORUS 2 — The Gate That Won’t Be Fooled
No résumé will matter,
No title, wealth, or chatter—
Coward rulers won’t step through this gate.
If they refuse obedience,
Even some believers
Will remain outside that holy place.
---
CHORUS 2 — The Narrow Way
Heaven’s wide and endless,
But the gate is narrow—
Only My true church will enter in.
If your name’s not written
In the Book that’s given,
Then the path you chose will lead into the abyss.
---
BRIDGE — Who Enters?
Who enters? Only holy—
Holy, holy, holy—
For I am holy, holy, holy too.
The washed and the redeemed ones,
The ransomed and the faithful,
Those who walked with Me and let Me make them new.
No rich man, no poor man,
No great one, no small one—
For only God is great upon that day.
Before the Father’s presence,
All knees will bow in reverence,
Even atheists will tremble as they pray.
---
FINAL CHORUS / DECLARATION — The Returning King
I am Jesus, Great and Mighty,
Son of God Almighty—
I may return this very moment now.
Earth, listen to My warning,
Soon the skies will open,
And I’ll take My church just as I vowed.
