(VERSE 1 – upbeat Pentecostal march, 118–124 BPM)
I keep walking through the trial giving glory to God,
Glory to God, glory to God.
I keep walking through the trial giving glory to God,
Glory to God, glory to God.
It gets heavy when we’re standing in the fire,
Then comes someone troubled, sent by the liar.
He comes loaded up with darkness in his eyes,
Fully contaminated just to steal your peace of mind.
But he can’t see that when God begins a work,
He tests His servant first — that’s how His blessings birth.
That’s why I keep on walking through the trial giving glory,
That’s why I keep on walking through the trial giving glory.
---
(CHORUS – strong march rhythm, congregational)
I keep walking through the trial giving glory to God,
Glory to God, glory to God.
I keep walking through the trial giving glory to God,
Glory to God, glory to God.
I keep walking through the trial giving glory to God,
Glory to God, glory to God.
I keep walking through the trial giving glory to God,
Glory to God, glory to God.
Oh‑oh…

(SPOKEN WORD – testimony section, preacher voice)
Brother, listen close right here.
When we first convert, all we really have is faith — only faith.
One day I was at home, like every new believer
Who truly wants commitment with the Lord —
Seeking, praying, consecrating…
And the devil sent someone to my house.
Did you know that when you’re in a battle,
Satan always sends someone to your house
To try to push you even lower?
Tell your brother: “The devil always sends someone to your house.”
Now tell him: “But the devil gets scared —
Because when he knocks on the door,
The One who opens it is the Almighty God,
Creator of Heaven and Earth!”
Hallelujah!
One day I was home,
And one of those people the devil sends showed up.
I was in need, hungry, struggling…
And he had the nerve to look at me and ask:
“Lázaro, if you’re a believer,
Why are you hungry?”
I looked at him and said:
Because man shall not live by bread alone.
But the devil never quits the first time.
He didn’t quit in the desert with Jesus —
Imagine with me.
Then the man asked again:
“If you’re a believer, why all this pain?”
And I said:
Do you know why all this pain, my friend?
Because the desert is the Lord’s training ground.
---
(CHORUS – repeat, energetic)
I keep walking through the trial giving glory to God,
Glory to God, glory to God.
I keep walking through the trial giving glory to God,
Glory to God, glory to God.
I keep walking through the trial giving glory to God,
Glory to God, glory to God.
I keep walking through the trial giving glory to God,
Glory to God, glory to God.
Oh‑oh…
