We me on a Thursday night it was dark and raining 
She held my hand high felt like I was floating 
Got butterflies in my tummy feeling so light 
Making me nervous I felt like I could die

My hands felt numb in the morning and where did she go 
My mind drew these blanks like I didn’t already know 
I got up and dressed went down the stairs  
Saw her kissing my friend from upstairs 

I Left her stunned we locked eyes betrayal had begun 
I saw her grabbing her tightly like lighting a match to my heart 
The fire has started and I’ll falling apart 
Crying in the bathroom stall, my echoes down the hall
Tears falling down my cheeks like a damn waterfall 
I’m weak, I’m terrified can I hide where’s my mind how can I survive 

Weeks go by and I’m by myself cleaning out my room 
Haven’t heard from her in weeks wonder if she’s doomed 
Oh well not my problem she chose this life
