Summers Good Bye

The autumn leaves are blowing

I guess the time has come

to say good bye, heading south we must fly

Winters song is soon to come

Good bye is in the wind

Each leaf that blows I'll send a kiss, to you my friend

I need to pack, the days grow short, the stars still shining bright

The rain has come, the midst is

Cloudy white

I miss you already, I don't want to say good bye

I miss you my family

I never want to leave

Summer was like a song, we played all day long

Pacific Northwest beauty

In my heart I bring you along

Now the air is crisp and cool , autumn sings her song

The leaves turn red and bronze

And drop upon my lawn

Good by to summer cottage

Days of play and sweet rebirth

Soon we travel southbound

And race geese to sandy turf

Good bye to summer sunsets

The moments always stay with me

The setting down of golden star

Gazing up at tallest Redwood Trees

Good bye to friends and family

Another year has passed

It is true life is short
