Dusty Road

This dusty road I travel is not just meant for me

It led me to understand why Jesus died for me

And when the dust all settles along this road of stone

As a young man years ago we lived out on a farm

We would always walk to church with family arm and arm

The dusty road we followed was a rough and windy path

But Daddy said to walk it straight to avoid the devils wrath

How was I know how true Daddy’s words would be
