I stare at the tv till dawn

Doesn’t matter if there’s anything on

Cause what’s in my mind

Ain’t in the Tv guide

I just so damn lonely since your gone

The day that you told me goodbye

I guess I never understood why

Said you couldn’t feel the love

That I gave to you

So all I can do is sit and cry

So turn on the TV to the late late show

I’ll think about the days of old

Just like a love story

That somehow goes wrong

I’m just so damn lonely

Since you’re gone

I wonder what you’re doing right now

Are you listening to those TV sounds

Are there tears in your eyes

from saying goodbye

Or is there another love you found

I guess I’ll have to face it somehow

That you’re no longer with me now

So all I can do is sit and stare this tube

And listen to those TV sounds
