Blood of the Lamb

2000 years ago, was a man on a cross

As you know, by his love, he died for all of us

Was a shepherd and a king a servant to all man

He was born of a virgin it was Gods mighty plan

He knew for our salvation what he had to do for man

Was to raise a lion from the dead through the blood of the lamb

Blood of the lamb was Jesus crucified

he took the sin from all of us then he died

But raising up from the grave Jesus was reborn

He became the mighty Lion preparing for the storm

He walked for 40 days on earth resurrected from his grave

He commanded his disciples of the world they need to save

As he lifted to the clouds we knew he’d return someday

Blood of the lamb he left but the lions on the way

Blood of the lamb was Jesus crucified

he took the sin from all of us then he died

From a gentle lamb he started with his blood he gave it all

To the roar of the lion he will make the evil fall
