the frozen pane

looking out into

the wintery terrain

another winter here

more endless tears...

I wasn't home

that winter morning

clouds rolled in

without any warning

temperature dropped

like a summer sunset

im left with guilt

and awkward regret

Buried alone

in a cloud of shame

Forcing a smile

now its just a game

Wanting so bad to see you there

to make you see, I really did care

as you went away looking for

bigger and better

loving someone
