How did we get here
Commanded to be unified
Yet divided we are
Claiming to worship the same king
But separated by laws of man
Gate keeping God
Wearing the robe of a Pharisee
Hypocrisy is what I see
Imagine what he who sees the unseen sees
Throwing stones like your perfect like the lamb
If in his perfection Jesus didn’t condemn

Because Jesus is in the midst of two or three
The building isn’t the temple
It’s you
If you believe, the Holy Spirit lives in you
Anywhere you can worship and feel his joy
Don’t wait for Sunday worship everyday
Let your faith be unapologetic

Whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God
If David sang and danced for the lord
Why can’t you
The lord said David was a man after his own heart
For his love of God he was anointed king
So why are you mad when you see me sing
You say Protestant music doesn’t honor god
But you don’t read the word

Did Jesus bash her and condemn her to hell
No, his kindness drew her to the light
And changed her life
Don’t be a reason a heart becomes hard
How can they feel the love of God
When your speech breathes hate

Now their eyes won’t see
And their ears won’t hear

Worship Jesus
Follow Jesus
Serve Jesus
