don’t go silent

and think it won’t matter.

i’m not asking for attention,

i’m asking for presence.

say it.

silence is disrespect.

you show up just long enough

to murmur sorry.

then vanish again.

that’s not effort.

that’s dead weight.

i shouldn’t feel stupid

for expecting action.

for wanting basic respect.
