Chase the Fireflies

I watched you chase the fireflies

Running with arms opened wide

You'd name them all before you let them go

I took you swinging in the park

We'd stay there til it got dark

Wherever I was, you'd be in tow

It's not easy seeing you grow older

Your mom still thinks you're little, but you're not. I've told her.

You're in high school, and It's all been too quick

I wish I could rewind time for another trip
