Faith Over Fear

A couple years ago momma called me upset

She said, I have something to tell you, but I don't know it all yet.

I said what's going on mom? What did the doctor tell you.

She said, “masses in my lungs, they'll figure out what to do.”

I drove all night to see her

She held a cross, I shed tears.

She said, “son, dont worry.”

A couple years went by and she seemed to be just fine.

I got busy with life and didn't have a lot of time.

She wasnt on a tube cause he was able to breathe

I talked to her on the phone and said “what a relief.”

She Started to get dizzy and wrecked her van.

It was scary, but she went in for a head scan

Three tumors on the picture, she said

One of them was bigger and now her brain bled.
