Oh, I remember days gone by

When the land was strong and proud

Steel in our backs, fire in our eyes

We stood tall above the crowd

Back when sweat was our currency

And truth was never for sale

We worked the soil, loved our country

Hearts beating patriot's tale

But now I see our streets are crying

With chaos, theft, and pain

Guess we forgot the meaning

Of hard work and steadfast aim

The freedom, the pride I used to see?

I miss my country, the way it used to be

With honest hands and a strong family
