Long day, shadows fall, heavy on my mind

Tried to stand tall, but I feel so confined

A promise made, a vow so deep, now I weigh and I weep

But I gotta find a way, fight the fears that I keep

Memories haunting, echoes of a life I used to know

Fighting the silence, in this storm, I learn to grow

Broke a promise, sworn on a bed of final breath

Now I face the truth, I can't ignore what's left

It's a battle, daily grind, trying to keep my spirit alive

Walking this line, between wrong and right, trying to survive

Every step I take, I gotta find my way

Hold on to hope, fight through the grey

Triumph in the chaos, strength in the pain

Rising from the ashes, breaking every chain

No more homelessness, moving toward the light

It's a wild ride, but I’ll be alright

PTSD and scars, stories written in my soul

Fighting through the darkness, trying to reach my goal

Letting go of fear, embracing what’s to come

Tonight, I stand tall, till the morning sun

Long day, but I will mend, rebuild what’s torn apart

Changing the ending, mending my broken heart

It’s a victory, in this tangled maze
