Echoes of a broken soul, wandering through the night

Silent prayers, searching for a flicker of light

Wounded from a war I fought within, scars that hide my pain

Battles fought and lost again, tears fall like pouring rain

Jaded heart, no peace in sight, haunted by my past

Yearning for forgiveness, praying it will last

Fear grips my trembling hands, shadows in my mind

Broken and battered, trying to find what I've left behind

Forgive me, Lord, for I am broken, lost and torn

A soul in darkness, pleading for the dawn

Hope flickers faint but true, I pray You hear my cry

Come and heal these wounds, lift me up so high

Rage inside, a storm I can't contain, fighting my own mind

Seeking mercy where I weep, salvation I can't find

Can Your grace reach down and mend this shattered heart?

Or am I too lost, too broken from the start?

Still I pray in quiet despair, for a chance to be redeemed

Hoping one day I will find peace inside my broken dreams
