I had one fear when I was a kid

That god saw everything I did

And if I was bad and misbehaved

He would send a jabberwocky my way

Then one day I misbehaved

And stole a bike from my friend Dave

And late that night to my dismay

Two green eyes they stared my way

From deep inside the closet nook

I dared not turn my head to look

Little kids should say their prayers

And creatures born from who knows where
