Shadows lurking, fears inside me swell

Endless darkness, echoing farewell

Walking through no man's land, I feel the cold,

Empty streets, memories unfold,

Tried to hold on tight, scared you’ll slip away,

Leaving me broken, drowning in fears.

Can’t escape the thought, it’s tearing me apart,

Haunted by the ghosts, embedded in my mind.

Left behind, in the dark I scream,

Lost in the shadows of my lonely dreams,

Fear of abandonment, a raging storm,

Crashing through my mind, I wanna be warm.

Whispers in the silence, telling me I’m alone,

Isolation’s grip, cutting me to the bone,

Every loss, a scar,

Searching for connection I can’t find.
