Steel and Sparks

Smoldering sparks fly in the dawn's first light

Leather gloves grip tight, steel shining bright

Metal in the fire, sparks dancing in the air

Sweat dripping down, sweat soaked and worn with care

Grinding through the day, pounding life in every bead

Hold my breath, focus sharp, in this sweat-streaked hood

It's the blood, the sweat, the heat, this is what I do

Forging dreams with every strike, to see them all come true

I'm a working man, with a welding torch in hand

Living out my days in the fire's unforgiving land

Burns and sparks fly, but I stand tall and proud

Doing what I love, in the smoke and the crowd

Leathers tough, the sun beats down, no time to rest

Small moments of calm, but I know what is best

Running that bead with nerves of steel, fire in my veins

Every spark I chase, to ease the hunger pains
