In December 2015 Governor Phil Bryant appointed Dr.Chandler to over see reform of Mississippi foster care in May 2016. The Governor though CPS was on a good road to become an independent agency that Governor Bryant singed.Senate Bill 2179 establishing MDCPS an independent agency just to dramatically increasing its budget by giving MDCPS 34 million dollars just to boost it infrastructure and increasing the number of case workers to meet the settlement agreement. In 2016 within two years MDCPS was back in bad shape like it was in 2015 back to violating the settlement agreements again.Governor Bryant did not take in account that their could be funding cut by becoming an independent agency.May 2016. Governor Bryant seen Dollar Sings and more infrastructure to build an empire within MDCPS so lets take a look at the consequence of GREED by Governor Bryant for NOT caring about the needs of children and families.The only Thing Governor Bryant was looking for MONEY from the federal government so now let's see what happens when you trun an dempartmen into an independent agency.
