When I was younger I remember
I was at my cousins house
Playing in the backyard
The voice we heard shook all our nerves
That thing was very loud
Like Jesus out the water
I heard your call surround
You said my name so deep and loud
There’s no mistake you called
Your voice stopped there
Your not that clear
Is there something I should do?
Tell me now or I’ll decide
I’m standing at the door
Knocking on the house of God
Hoping he’ll wake up
I’m stuck outside
I know your home
Please tell me what to do
I’ve tried to answer all your riddles
And find my way to you
It took me time and took my dimes
That’s the honest truth
-
College isn’t for me mom
That exists for rocket science
I’d rather watch my pocket dry up
Then spending all my time
Trying to unwind
The thoughts of other men
Who couldnt find the end
Forcing ideologies
On simple minded animals
To keep us all controlled
Like a bunch of tired animals
First one to the knowledge
Gets to tame the idiots
to claim that they have powers
Over you and me and others
But you see I can see
What they don’t want you to see
You and me we could be
So much better then that team
Take your time let’s unwind
All the thoughts they try to breed
Through the schools and their rules
They keep poisoning the tree
Listen please one two three
Jump on top your enemy
There’s a way that I found
To opens Sesame
Streets made of gold
Wait for you and me
Praise the lord stomp your feet
Im slow to learn
Ever since the drop
I’m slow like the turtle
Up against a hurtle
But I never stop
I’ve been reading books
I’ve been reading notes
I’ve been writing books
I’ve been writing notes
While everybody else has been falling out
I’ve been building up my wisdom
Like a library
There might never live
Someone smarter then Solomon
But I’ll take an equal portion
And add it to the list
Because I’m
Greater then Alexander
Stronger then Sampson
My Heart is bigger then David’s
And I’ve got vision like Moses
I’ll take on all of the giants
