At the bottom of this anchoring rock
Held back my strength, so none may have my say so weakness
And I fall to my knees
In pain of memory, the reality compared is
Absolutely nothing
The sleep of slow steeping life
The fact that death is but a dream
Maybe a lie
Gripping the gravel and rocks
Holding tight to my nicks and convictions
On a spiraled mission
A journey
Coming all back to me
When did this become
Normalcy
And my chest beats so much,
Hold the breath, even if it hurts
This vessel of mine cursed
Death; sobering himself
While we roll in self inflicted somber wealth
A new rock bottom,
And now there’s no one to help
Was there ever?
Remembering these things about each other
And the memory stings
Burns, as it sings in my ear
The lowest point
And I will keep returning here
Until I can climb this massive anchor
Holding me down
Begging me to drown
And pull it up and out of the sea bed
The bedrock of my head
And hold this burden
In my hands, these,
Capable
of being bled
/bleeding/
