Looking at the trees,
I see the babies yet to blossom.
Tiny buds appear all around the branches. I focus on one particular tree. It is beginning to blossom— not all at once, but in different places.
And I pray to God that real soon, the whole tree will burst open with beautiful little flowers, possessed by the life within that tree.
You know... people are just like that.
Those buds on the tree are like babies at home. When you keep watering them, nurturing them, loving them, teaching them, they begin to blossom.
They begin to grow.
And when you're looking at thousands of them, that's your community.
Blossoming... blossoming... blossoming wide open.
From a tiny bud to a full-grown flower.
All around the world, babies are being born. Babies are blossoming, just like the trees.
But sometimes, flowers come and go.
Different seasons. They fall from the branches.
Then you look at a full-grown tree, its leaves ar green, so beautiful, so manicured...
Except for one patch of brown.
A piece of rot in something that seemed perfect.
And the tree cries out, asking someone to cut away the rot, so it can be one hundred percent functional, instead of running on ninety.
People are no different.
Everything around you may appear perfect, except a piece of rot found its way into your tree.
Now in some cases, biblically, it may be there to keep you in line.
And if that's God's purpose, cutting it off isn't going to happen.
But if it's not meant to be there, cut it away.
Like cutting a cord.
Simple.
Not with an actual knife.
You envision cutting it.
You move your hands as though you're cutting it, but you're not harming a person.
You're cutting the spirit away from you.
Because the person standing before you is innocent.
For flesh and blood are not your enemies.
What you don't see is what your enemy may be operating through.
The person you thought you knew... you didn't see who possessed him or her.
Was the person intoxicated? Overmedicated? Struggling with mental disorders?
Or was it deeper than that?
Perhaps something dark attached itself to someone you thought you knew.
You never saw that side until that night.
That dark... dark spirit.
Yet you were wise enough to turn away.
And bold enough to speak.
And that spirit had to run.
Run away from the person you knew, for fear of the fire, the Light within you.
Ooo... within you.
You... you... you...
Always remember—
You are a child of the Light.
Always remember—
You are a child of the Light, not of the darkness.
There's power in you tonight.
You can feel it.
Oh yes.
Oh yes.
I can feel it.
I can feel the change.
I can feel the difference in the air, in my surroundings, in this very room.
A sudden change.
What just happened?
I went from hate to love so quickly, so sharply.
And I owe it all to You, my Friend.
The power of God within.
And You say I can have that same power that I just witnessed.
That's the power.
That's the power.
That's the power.
Don't walk away fro
