I don’t want your accolades

No I don’t want your serenades

I just want what’s best for me

No I don’t want to sit and wait

I’m not waging war with fools

That don’t care what’s at stake

Cause the consequence is eternal

Not a means to go viral

It’s sad to see how much we’ve fallen

From what’s presented in the mosques and

You say you know what’s better

Yet it disgraces the faith you wager

Are you surely what’s the truth?

Have you considered all you knew

Wasn’t exactly what you thought-

Or was that something you gave excuse?

When it came to the Persian war

Or the Sunni Muslim rule

That brought us all here

To claim what’s “Holy” like you do

Is it truly enough to say that we’ve gone our separate ways

For those to mock and degrade me

It’s a two way mirror

Forget the ones you thought have stayed

It’s a shame you can not see

The sins are seeped in olive trees

They’re even in the white and blue

That say seclusion is the rule

It doesn’t matter who you are

I’m tired, broken, torn apart

From all the lies in my wake

I’ve surrendered all this up to fate
