Shadow of a Narcissist

Shattered silence, echoes loud, nobody wins now,

Caught in this battle, losing ground, can’t find how,

Truths twisted, shadows cast, I’m sinking fast,

Lost in the storm she’s brewing, a shadow of the past.

She’s a mirror reflecting only her own face,

Never wrong, your faults, her favorite chase,

Blaming, shaming, tearing me apart,

A narcissist’s game, she got her start.

I’ve stumbled, I’ve fallen, I’ve lost my way,

Said fucked up shit, but I gotta say,

She pushed me down, kept me in the dark,

Took everything, left a scar mark.

She’s always right, no matter what I say,

Used, abused, in her storm I sway,

Felt like I’m drowning, lost in her eye,

No voice of my own, just a silent cry.

She bitched, she fought, like a hurricane,

Emotionally drained, it’s all a pain,

Physically, financially, left me torn,

A love turned weapon, every dawn a scorn.

I’ve stumbled, I’ve fallen, I’ve lost my way,

Said fucked up shit, but I gotta say,

Find my voice, escape her reign.
